SelTec® Power Steering System Service
Part:  SelTec® Power Steering Kit #92 (2 part kit includes SelTec® Power Sterring Cleaner  #4040, and SelTec® Power Steering Conditioner #4141 or SelTec® Power Steering Fluid - Red or Amber - $4242)
Recommended Service Interval:  every 2 years or 30,000 miles for green coolant - 4 to 5 years or 60,000 miles for long-life coolant.
Benefits:  cleans deposits from cooling system - balances pH, improves heat transfer
Directions:  add #707 flush to existing coolant, run engine until thermostat opens, allow flush to circulate through heater core, then drain coolant and refill with new coolant and install conditioner - compatible with green and long-life coolant

Caution:  This product is safe on all cooling system components however; the same inherent risks exist here as with any chemical flush service when performing this service on older high-mileage vehicles.  If the vehicle has a lot of deposits in the system, there is a risk that in cleaning the deposits we may plug a narrow passage in the heater core or reveal something that needs to be repaired.  The technician needs to evaluate the situation and avoid chemically flushing high-risk vehicles. The fluid in your power steering system keeps the seals soft and pliable preventing leaks.  It is also essential in the smooth operation of the entire assembly. Changing the fluid is a fraction of the cost of repairing systems that fail when the fluid depletes and no longer performs.
